As a 15 year old, things could be a struggle. I've been picked on by others that were my age and knew how to fight. I used to cry alot in elmentary, and I would always please the bullies. But on August 28th of 2012 I decided to take no more. I wanted to have knowledge of how to defend myself, I know longer wanted to be the joke or the punching bag. So LA Boxing was the right workout place for me. I Signed up for Grappling & Submissions, and I'm getting the hang of it already. Thank You LA Boxing! I don't care if I win $100 bucks or not, I just want to touch others with my Day 1 story.

Re: Sample Page

I work out in Albuquerque (West). I am EXTREMELY deconditioned. All of the trainers are patient and fun to work with. When I sit out on a particular exercise, none have made me feel inadequate. They understand that it's a process. They are true professionals. I love going and can't wait to see what I'll be looking like in six months!!!

Re: Sample Page

I started LA Boxing so I can outlast my girlfriend in bed. She's younger -- and much more fit. Okay, so she's just one year younger. My back gives out and I collapse before she's even warmed up. It's embarrassing. It's time to put her in her place. Plus I'm not even sure if my life insurance pays out if I die from cardiac arrest during voluntary bedroom activities. Not worth the risk.

Re: Sample Page

asdfsfa

Re: Sample Page

asdflkj lkj lkjs df

Re: Sample Page

i want to join la boxing to switch up my shape and the anger i have. but im scared because im not fit as everyone should be and i cant do all excersizes that fit people can do. also i have a heart murmur but i dnt think that would be a problem? any suggestions? i really am interested in la boxing. :)

Re: Sample Page

My Wife and I have been trying to find the right workout that would fit our lifestyle and keep us engaged. We've tried workout DVD's but its too easy to be lazy and half ass a workout. We saw some flyers for LA Boxing Brentwood so we decided to drive by and take it look. To make a long story short, we tried a Boxing class with Michael A. and we're hooked! I didn't think I was that out of shape but Day 1 broke me AND my Wife down! We loved the class so much we both prepaid for a 1 year membership! I have no doubt in my mind that we will be able to accomplish our goals and exceed them working with the great staff at LA Boxing Brentwood.

Re: Sample Page

i loved the work out! i havent worked out in many many years. i also had a hysterectomy in sept then hemorrhaged in oct. so was in the hospital and had a long recovery due to blood loss. i have kept in shape by low impact walking etc, but this i loved. it kept me focused, challenged and pushed me which i needed and liked. Pam was an awesome instructor and really helped point out where i need to improve! a good coach! i do wish i could come back. we just cant afford the membership right now, but this has inspired me to try and find a way to keep this kind of work out up! thank you for inspriring me! if i ever can afford it i will be back!

Re: Sample Page

My first day of kickboxing was great! I felt it working every part of my body especially my core! I felt my body shaking as I was doing the work outs. I will definitely come back, but I want to make sure I can attend at least 3 classes in a week

Re: Sample Page

I work out 4 times a week; about 50 minutes of cardio with weights on some days. I was looking for variety and definitely got this at La Boxing but I think when you are starting with any new program be wary and ask lots of questions. I did not and tho I love a challenge they have not only boxing in their " Beginners Class" but much more. I sprained my ankle and have not been able to do my ordinary workout since so I would say really check out any new routine you are about to emark on.

Re: Sample Page

Nice place to have a cardio workout. It's more of a workout place than technical learning place. Maybe i misunderstood about the goal of the gym because since it's called BOXING i thought they'd be teaching skills to better my skills that i already have instead it's aerobic dancing but you're only punching and doing basic full body workouts. IT'S DEFINITELY for people who wants to lose weight but not recommended for those who wants to compete amateur or looking for club to sponsor you in boxing/fighting events.
Pretty much most of the boxing class is hard workout session with punching bags with jumping jacks, bicycles, push ups, sit ups in between. I'd definitely update in the future as i go more into the workouts if i decide to and keep this post updated.

Re: Sample Page

My first day, I walked into the gym excited but nervous. I knew I was in reasonably good shape, and I figured I could handle anything the gym had to offer. I was wrong. Hard living took a noticeable toll on me and I had to call it quits before the session ended. I'm going back as soon as I can, and this time I'm giving it everything I've got. The staff is so friendly and supportive, and the workout is so intense that it's impossible to stay away.
I can't wait to post my results after a year of boxing!

Re: Sample Page

Love it!

Re: Sample Page

Love the attitude, Chris! I left crushed and completely drained, but in no way was this a bad feeling, cause hours later after a great shower I felt this level of energy bursting for more Kickboxing, another workout. My workouts have always been bland untill now! Thank You LA Boxing for working out a great deal and taking my workout to a new level. You never know I may be the next 30's something taking to the ring!!

Re: Sample Page

Great experience, I loved the intensity of the class, and the teacher. Day 1 for me was awesome, I was worried I wasn't going to get a good workout and I got more than enough. I am definitely looking forward to going back, and I highly highly recommend it for anyone looking for a great workout and even greater results.

Re: Sample Page

Its been 1 year and I had bleeding ulcers from the stress. Talk about no metabolism! Immediately after the removal I gained 30 lbs. as doctors tried to adjust my medication. The weight never really came off; I was tired, sluggish and didn't look or feel healthy. LA Boxing has helped me lose weight, feel better and strong, and taught me new skills. Who could ask for more?

Re: Sample Page

Thanks Brenda! All the
trainers are top-notch at the Shrewsbury,NJ location. They are constantly changing up the routine which makes for a exciting class!

Re: Sample Page

Fantastic

Re: Sample Page

I enjoyed my first class with La Boxing it was great. Mark was patient and very tactful. I got a full body work out and learned the proper techniques of throwing punches. Every muscle in my body was sore.

Re: Sample Page

We affectionately nicknamed our first class teacher Chuckgyver Jones, because we were pretty sure he was an enhanced combination of Chuck Norris, McGyver, and Indiana Jones. And we're pretty sure he could kick all 3 of their butts. At the same time. Chuckgyver (who we now know as Mike C, but still call Chuckgyver Jones) taught my first Kettlebells class, which is a freakin awesome workout. He has a way of totally kicking your butt, but at an attainable level so you don't want to kill him the whole time. The other classes have been great too, but no one seems to beat our CGJ. All the LA Boxing classes are addictive workouts, which is good, because I really needed to get addicted to working out again :)

Re: Sample Page

Boxing for brain fuel.. love it!

Re: Sample Page

Just started and the first day workout was hardcore...I loved every second of it and am looking forward to the next one.
